Job summary

Person Driven Clinical Solutions (PDCS) is seeking a Behavior Specialist to evaluate and develop behavioral support plans (BSP/RPP) for individuals, ensuring they are person-driven. You will collaborate with families and teams to implement effective interventions and monitor progress in various settings.

The role emphasizes comprehensive assessments, data-driven planning, and ongoing training of support staff to promote independence and improved quality of life for individuals served.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field.
• 2–5 years of behavioral support services experience.
• Knowledge of Positive Approaches, Dual Diagnosis, Person-Centered Thinking, Trauma-Informed Care, group facilitation, and staff mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluation and assessment for BSP/RPP needs.
• Develop individualized BSP/RPP.
• Train and mentor staff on BSP/RPP and supports.
• Implement and monitor BSP/RPP activities.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data on challenging behaviors.
• Review BSP/RPP annually and through ISP meetings.
• Attend required appointments and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
