Person Driven Clinical Solutions in Carnegie, PA is hiring a Behavior Specialist to assess needs, develop BSP/RPP plans, and coordinate with families and interdisciplinary teams. This full-time role involves data collection, monitoring plans, and ensuring human rights protections while supporting individuals with behavioral needs.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 2–5 years of behavioral support experience, with strong writing and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Counseling or other health related fields.
• Two to Five years behavioral support services experience.
• Knowledge and experience with: Positive Approaches, Dual Diagnosis, Person Centered Thinking, Trauma Informed Care, group facilitation and staff mentoring a plus
• Excellent writing, documentation, and record keeping skills; particular emphasis on Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and written behavioral/treatment plans

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluation / detailed assessment of needs for individuals needing a BSP or a Restrictive Procedure Plan (RPP).
• Collect and evaluate behavioral data.
• Observe individual in various settings for developing a BSP/RPP.
• Collaborate with the individual, their family, and their team for developing a BSP/RPP.
• Conduct comprehensive functional assessments of presenting issues (e.g., aggression, self-injurious behavior, law offending behavior, elopement).
• Partner with the individual, their family, and their team to develop positive interventions to address specific presenting issues.

Education
