Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an assistant teacher to support teachers in delivering individualized services to K-12 students with special needs. You will work in small groups, monitor progress, and reinforce learning under the SESI model.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with students with special needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse students from varying backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction with teacher using SESI model.
• Provide customized behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Reinforce learning and complete one-on-one tutorials.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and accommodations.
• Use data to tailor materials and track student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and service providers to meet student needs.
• Support daily plans and safety of students.
