Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking a Behavior Specialist to develop comprehensive behavioral interventions and training plans using non-aversive approaches. You will oversee program policy development and ensure compliance with state, federal, and licensing requirements.

The role includes training staff, documenting behaviors, applying functional analysis, and writing monthly reports. Strong emphasis on data tracking and collaboration with managers and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or Psychology or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program policy development and licensing compliance.
• Train staff in physical interventions and non-aversive supports.
• Document target behaviors and summarize monthly.
• Develop behavioral interventions using functional analysis and non-aversive approaches.
• Create protocols for individuals served.
• Write monthly psychological service reports.
• Develop data collection and tracking systems for staff, providers and families.
• Coordinate with department managers to identify individuals requiring services.
• Attend physician/psychiatric appointments and clinical meetings.
• Participate in psycho-educational activities.
• Prepare annual caseload summaries and manager reports.
• Process billing materials and respond to proposals.
