A School-Based Interventionist provides direct services to students with autism and related disorders, implementing clinical programs for each student under the supervision of a Program Manager and/or Clinical Supervisor. School-Based Interventionists may also provide support for multiple students within a single classroom with embedded supports. It may take 6-8 weeks to assign you to a school site with cases that are appropriate to your new hire skill level and geographic location. You must be willing to drive a commute of 20 to 40 miles to the school you are assigned. Although we try to place you at a school site that is geographically close to your home, convenience is not guaranteed. Your availability to work school hours is critical for your successful training and ongoing career with Intercare Therapy.
