Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking a Behavior Interventionist/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with intensive behavioral needs in California. You will implement BIPs, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and collaborate with teachers and specialists across settings.

We offer paid training, W-2 employment, weekly direct deposit, background check reimbursements, 401k enrollment after eligibility, and a referral program.

Qualifications

• Empathy and calm, supportive approach for students with intensive needs.
• Ability to maintain safety and structure during escalated moments.
• Collaborates with teachers, specialists and behavior teams.
• RBT certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students in high-needs behavioral settings, including 1:1 and small-group sessions.
• Implement and follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and safety protocols.
• De-escalate behaviors and support toileting, personal care, and adaptive routines as needed.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and behavior teams to foster a safe learning environment.
