Job summary

Scoot Education in Rocklin, CA is hiring a dedicated education consultant to support students with developmental disabilities. You’ll work 1:1 or with classrooms, applying behavioral therapy techniques and collaborating with lead educators to create a safe, nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Valid RBT Certification.
• Experience in behavioral therapy and working with students with developmental disabilities.
• At least 1 year experience working with children/adults with special needs or in a classroom/education setting.
• Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with students, 1:1 or across entire classrooms.
• Assist moderate to severe scenarios in the classroom (toileting, 1:1 care, non-verbal, challenging or aggressive behaviors).
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educators.
