Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring Behavior Technicians / ABA Behavior Interventionists in California for in-home and clinic-based roles. This part-time position offers paid training and the opportunity to help children with autism develop essential skills using ABA.

Travel to client homes within a 20–40 mile radius, collaborate with families and supervisors, and work 1:1 with children in both settings. A HS diploma plus college coursework or enrollment is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus one completed college course.
• Currently enrolled in college.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, registration & insurance.
• Willing to travel 20–40 miles radius.
• Passion for working with children.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be active with children.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in home and clinic settings using ABA (training provided).
• Help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Travel to client homes and local community locations to provide services.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to support progress.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each child.

Pay & Schedule

• $20.25 to $26.00 per hour
• Part-time role

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma + one of the following:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, registration & insurance
• Comfortable with local travel to nearby client locations (20 to 40mi radius)
• Passion for working with children (experience preferred)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, kneeling, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs. while engaging with children
