Job summary

Intercare Therapy in Downey, CA is hiring Behavior Technicians / ABA Behavior Interventionists for in-home and clinic-based work. The role offers a part-time schedule with mornings, afternoons, and early evenings, and a pay range of $19.25 to $23.00 per hour.

Training is provided, and travel to client locations within a 20–40 mile radius is expected. You will support children with autism to improve communication, social skills, and daily living while collaborating with families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma + one of the following: college coursework, currently enrolled in college, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, registration & insurance.
• Willingness to travel locally (20–40 miles radius).
• Passion for working with children; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Physical requirements: active role including standing, kneeling, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in home and clinic settings using ABA (training provided).
• Help children build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Travel to client homes and local community locations to provide services.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to support progress.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each child.

Basic Requirements
