Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support behavior-analytic services under BCBA supervision. The role involves direct instruction, data collection, and collaboration with classroom teachers to implement behavior intervention plans.

The RBT will assist in instructional activities, monitor student behavior, and participate in supervision sessions. A high school diploma or GED and completion of the required 40-hour RBT training are essential,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and one year of educational or clerical experience, or equivalent.
Complete a 40-hour RBT training program.
Pass the RBT Initial Competency Assessment and RBT Examination.
Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist teacher by helping with classroom instruction and adapting materials for students needing modifications.
Obtain supervision for at least 5% of hours in behavior-analytic services.
Participate in monthly supervision sessions and one observation session.
Record data and assist with assessment as directed by supervisor.
Monitor student behavior and escort students on campus.
Maintain accurate documentation of supervision sessions.
