Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 40 hours online behavior technician training; RBT certification within 6 months.
• Must possess a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card while employed. CPR/First Aid recertification every 2 years. Crisis Prevention Intervention refresher as required.
• FLSA Status: Non Exempt; Pay Schedule: Hourly - Grade 112; Work Calendar: 9 Month.

Responsibilities

• Provides carry-over of procedures and/or strategies outlined in behavior plans and/or skill acquisition programs for individual students, under the direction of the BCBA.
• Utilizes Crisis Prevention and Intervention Techniques to prevent and assist with escalated behavior.
• Responds to emergency situations for safety; confers with BCBA and staff Regularly.
• Collects and graphs data on student progress and staff implementation of procedures.
• Supports classroom staff with implementation of behavior plans and skill acquisition programs.
• Maintains intervention materials and student files; performs clerical duties as needed.
