Job summary

The Sheppard Pratt School in Cumberland is a nonpublic special education day school dedicated to providing year‑round educational, vocational, and daily living services to students in grades K‑12. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1 year of related experience preferred
• Associate degree with 2 years of related experience
• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of related experience required

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized intervention plans (BIPs).
• Collect and accurately record data on client behavior during intervention sessions.
• Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and ongoing progress assessments.
• Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques and intervention strategies.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
