Job summary

The Sheppard Pratt School in Cumberland, MD is seeking a dedicated on-site team member to support students with developmental disabilities under supervision. You will implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and help students progress academically and socially.

Responsibilities include developing and applying individualized intervention plans (BIPs), recording behavior data, and conducting FBAs while training caregivers and staff in effective behavior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of related experience.
• Associate degree and 2 years of related experience.
• High school degree or GED and 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized intervention plans (BIPs) under supervision.
• Collect and accurately record data on client behavior during sessions.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and monitor progress.
• Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
