Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Texas Teacher’s Certificate in related field (Preferred).
• TBSI training (Preferred).
• BCABA (Preferred).
• Experience supporting students with emotional/behavioral/autism needs across ages and settings.
• Ability to work with staff, parents and community.

Responsibilities

• Model effective strategies for students with emotional disturbance, behavioral issues, and autism.
• Assist teachers in programming for these students.
• Mentor new teachers in teaching strategies and behavior interventions.
• Provide parent training per IEP requirements.
• Collect and analyze student data and provide feedback.
