Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Teacher – Behavior and Intervention to strengthen student outcomes through behavioral supports and program leadership. The role emphasizes delivering ABA-style strategies, coordinating with families, and implementing IEPs/BIPs district-wide in the Special Education framework.

The ideal candidate will hold SPED certification, have 3 years of related teaching experience, and be capable of leading professional development for campus staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mental Health, Human Services, or related field.
• Texas Special Education Certification or Texas Teaching Certification with SPED endorsement required.
• 3 years of teaching experience in Special Education; autism experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral intervention strategies for students, teachers, and families.
• Develop and implement IEPs and Behavioral Improvement Plans (BIP).
• Offer training and consultation on behavioral supports to staff and parents.
