Job summary

Located on our historic campus in Towson, Maryland, Sheppard Pratt School and Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) approved, level V nonpublic school.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and provide support to students with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year of related experience.
• Associate degree and 2 years of related experience.
• High school degree or GED and 4 years of related experience.
• Must meet Sheppard Pratt's requirements to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development and implementation of individualized intervention plans (BIPs).
• Collecting and accurately recording data on client behavior during intervention sessions.
• Assisting in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and ongoing assessments to monitor progress.
• Providing training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques and intervention strategies.
• Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
