We are currently looking for a Per Diem Behavior Technician (BHT) to join our Harrisburg team, serving children in the Harrisburg and surrounding areas of Dauphin County. Paid training is provided for all new hires! Apply today to be a part of our mission.

As a Per Diem Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will:

  • Work one-to-one with clients in clinic, home, and/or school setting, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to create meaningful change.
  • Assist clients in improving communication, social, and independent living skills.
  • Collaborate with family, caregivers, and treatment teams to deliver effective support.
  • Follow treatment plan and educate others about ABA interventions.
  • Collect and maintain data, manage client program materials, and foster therapeutic relationships.
  • Work per-diem, appointment-based schedules.


Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 6 months of experience with children and adolescents with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Must be able to travel to various service locations with reliable transportation.

Working Conditions

  • Local travel (20% estimated) during business hours (7 AM - 7 PM).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical activities like walking and bending.
