We are seeking a Behavior Health Technicianto join our team in ourEnola, PAarea.

Position Details:

This position involves providing group behavioral facilitation and interventions for children in a structured setting. Interventions are delivered in a 3:1 staff-to-child ratio to support behavioral training, particularly when such interventions are needed to avoid placement in a more restrictive treatment or educational environment.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate basic behavioral curriculum for groups of children.
  • Implement behavior modification treatment plans based on psychological evaluations and developed by senior team members, in accordance with medical necessity for the specific setting.
  • Utilize prescribed interventions to address problematic behaviors, targeting antecedents, teaching/reinforcement strategies, and other psychosocial rehabilitative activities as outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Model and implement intervention techniques for members of the treatment team (e.g., parents, caregivers, teachers, personal care aides) to stabilize the child or adolescent and support skill transfer for successful discharge of services.
  • Collect behavioral and program data during sessions from various environments.
  • Maintain regular communication with the case-specific treatment team.
  • Document progress notes for all billable interactions.
  • Submit payroll weekly or as directed, ensuring all required county-specific documentation is included.
  • Participate in scheduled supervision sessions with an assigned clinical supervisor.
  • Attend required training and meet the specified number of training hours per fiscal year.

Earn: $16.00 per hr.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
  • Must Have reliable transportation.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience providing behavioral health services (e.g., previous experience as a TSS/BHT with another agency)

Preferred:

  • Completed 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training course.
  • Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.
  • Certification as a BCaBA, an RBT, or BCAT preferred
