Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Behavior Health Technician (BHT) in Harrisburg, PA to deliver one-to-one behavioral health services to youth and families and support crisis intervention when needed. You will implement treatment plans, reinforce safe replacement behaviors, and document outcomes while collaborating with the Behavior Consultant.

The role requires 1 year of relevant experience; BCAT certification is required (training provided if needed) and background clearances.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience providing mental health support services to youth or young adults is preferred
• Certification: BCAT (Board Certified Autism Technician) required (training provided if needed)
• Clearances: PA Child Abuse, Criminal, and federal fingerprint-based background checks; Medicaid/Medicare exclusion verification

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, one-to-one behavioral health services to youth and families
• Implement treatment and behavior management plans developed by the Behavior Consultant
• Teach and reinforce safe, socially acceptable replacement behaviors
• Support skill-building in communication, social interaction, and problem-solving
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary to stabilize acute situations
• Complete accurate documentation and participate in supervision and collaboration

Pay Rate: $17 /hour
Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time schedules available
Program: Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)
