Job summary

Chimes in Philadelphia is seeking a Behavior Health Technician to work one-on-one with children and adolescents in community settings, building communication, social, emotional, and behavioral skills under ABA-informed guidelines.

You will travel between client locations, collaborate with families and schools, and participate in ongoing training and supervision. High school diploma required; associate/bachelor's preferred with strong communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in any capacity is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while being a part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, daycare, and community settings.
• Help children build communication, social, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills.
• Support positive behavior change using strategies taught through ABA training program.
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by clinical supervisors.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and treatment team members to support client success.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their support systems.
• Collect and document session data and progress notes accurately and promptly.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Travel between client locations throughout the community.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's or Bachelor's degree (a plus)

Compensation: Starting at $18+/hour (based on experience and credentials)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining a part of a team
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations
• Commitment to helping children and families achieve their goals

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, but not required
