Job summary

SESI, a division of FullBloom, is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under an IEP. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement behavior plans and provide direct support in a diverse educational setting.

Starting pay is USD 14.00 per hour. Candidates with related experience and a high school diploma are encouraged to apply; tuition reimbursement and credentialing support are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a setting with diverse students from varying backgrounds.
• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in the development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary to maintain safety.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that develops social and behavioral skills.
• Supervise students and ensure they are monitored.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent behavior support plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
