Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 settings in Darien, IL.

The role centers on implementing IEP goals, providing one-on-one support, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will work within a supportive, data-driven environment using PBIS CASE, with smaller class sizes and opportunities for professional development.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with behavioral interventions in an educational setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP and provide accommodations and modifications as needed.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors, progress, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Apply de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary for safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment to develop social and behavioral skills.
• Supervise students and ensure safe movement to and from locations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate effectively with parents.
