Job summary

Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools is hiring a Kids' Company Assistant (Before School) to help run a safe, engaging before-school program. You will assist the Site Leader in planning and delivering daily activities and supervising children in a supportive environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years old, and 1 year of experience with young children; First Aid/CPR certification is required or obtained after hire. Emphasis on teamwork and reliable communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year experience working with young children preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification required or obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Leader in planning, implementing and carrying out daily activities.
• Supervise children's activities, including set-up and clean-up, and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Support and implement discipline procedures as needed when involved with situations.
• Attend staff meetings and training as required to meet in-service requirements.
• Promote teamwork, customer service and a positive image of the program.
