Job summary

Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools is seeking a Kids' Company Assistant (After School) to support the Site Leader in delivering a well-organized child care program. You will supervise and engage students to create a safe, supportive learning environment in after-school settings.

The role requires interaction with children, families, and staff, and adherence to district policies. This on-site position offers afternoon hours and a rate of pay aligned with district scales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of experience with young children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Leader in planning and carrying out daily activities.
• Actively engage children in games and activities as a positive role model.
• Maintain supplies and request additional materials as needed.
• Communicate concerns or incidents to the Site Leader or Coordinator.
• Attend staff meetings and complete required training.
• Promote teamwork and a positive image of the program.
