Job summary

Prior Lake - Savage Area Schools is seeking a Kids' Company Assistant to support before/after-school programs at Glendale Elementary. The role requires supervising students, providing academic and behavioral support, and assisting the Site Leader in daily activities.

Hours are 6.25 per day (7:15am–1:30pm), 260 days/year, with pay rates of $18.66–$21.34 per hour. CPR/First Aid certification is required or to be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years old.
• One year of experience with young children preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred; trainings provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Leader in planning and carrying out daily activities.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students as needed.
• Supervise and monitor students at all times.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure proper outdoor attire.
• Communicate concerns and incidents to Site Leader/Coordinator.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings to meet in-service requirements.
• Promote teamwork and a positive image of the program.
• Maintain confidentiality according to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
