AlphaBEST Education is seeking a Site Director in Woodbridge, VA to lead a part-time before- and after-school program for elementary students. The role focuses on daily operations, safety, and staff support within a school-based setting.

You will oversee student activities, build relationships with families and school partners, and ensure a structured, engaging environment aligned with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

*Eligible new hires receive a $500 hiring bonus! Half when hired and half after successfully completing 6 months of employment and meeting applicable eligibility requirements.*

Pay: Starting $22-$23.50

Schedule: Monday-Friday

• Morning: 5:45 AM - 9:00 AM
• Afternoon: 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM

(Split shift - works around the school day)

About the Role

AlphaBEST Education is seeking a Site Director to lead a before- and after-school program for elementary students. This part-time leadership role is ideal for educators or youth program professionals who enjoy working with children and leading a small team in a structured school-based environment.

The Site Director oversees daily program operations, ensures student safety, supports staff, and builds strong relationships with families and school partners.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old

Candidates must meet one of the following education requirements:

• Child Development Associate (CDA), OR
• 12 college credits in child care or a related field within a minimum of 48 total college credits, OR
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in child care or a related field

Preferred:

• Experience in teaching, youth programs, or childcare
• Previous team leadership or staff supervision

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work with children in an active environment
• Regular bending, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds
