Job summary

AlphaBEST Education is seeking a part-time Group Leader for after-school programs in Norman, OK. You will guide students through engaging activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while prioritizing safety and keeping spaces organized.

The role emphasizes teamwork with school staff and families, building a supportive environment for elementary students after school. CPR/First Aid is required or obtainable, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
• Preferred 1 year of childcare experience with Elementary-aged students.

Responsibilities

• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
