YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids is seeking Before and After School Program Teachers to supervise children and implement engaging activities. This part-time role supports children during school hours, emphasizing a safe and enjoyable environment.

Before and After School Program Teachers provide a reliable, safe, and fun environment for children to prepare for their school day and unwind from it. Assistant Teachers assist in the planning, developing, and implementing classroom activities for programs.
Schedule: Monday through Friday availability, with shifts typically between 6:30 AM–8:30 AM and 3:00 PM–6:00 PM. This position offers a $2/hour shift premium for staff who work both before school program hours and after school program hours in the same day.
$15.21 - $19.01 ; Non-Exempt, Part time (up to 25 hours/week)
Six months to one year of youth development related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Ability to interact with people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles. Ability and desire to work with school age children.
