Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time Before and After School Group Leader to guide students in morning and/or afternoon sessions at Windsor-area elementary schools in Colorado. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and positive engagement with children.

You will lead varied activities across themes like world languages, STEAM, fitness, maker, and arts, while collaborating with school staff and families. A flexible schedule supports program staffing and personal commitments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and have 460 hours of experience with children (ages 4+).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; AM 6:30 am - 8:00 am and/or 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Locations: Various elementary schools within the Windsor, CO area (80550)

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you’ll help shape meaningful before and after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You’ll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old and have a minimum of 460 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Pay & Benefits:

• $15.25 - $16.25 per hour (GLA/GL)
