Job summary

AlphaBEST Education in Windsor, CO is seeking a Group Leader to guide students through daily enrichment activities and maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming after-school environment. You will support learning in world language, STEAM, fitness, maker and arts programs while building positive relationships with families and staff.

The role emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and teamwork, with opportunities for growth in a program-focused after-school setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old with 460+ hours of verifiable childcare experience (age 4+).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by Colorado childcare licensing regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Keep the space clean and organized
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old and have a minimum of 460 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay & Benefits

• $15.25 -16.25/hour (based on experience)
