Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring a Group Leader to oversee before- and after-school programs at two California locations. You will guide students through diverse activities, emphasizing safety, inclusivity, and positive interactions with families and school staff.

The role offers a structured, high-energy environment with 12 months of experience preferred. Two Rancho Romero Alamo and Creekside Danville campuses provide a supportive team and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 semester units or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Maintain child safety as the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Hours: Mon to Fri (3 shifts available) and no weekends!

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:

• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
