Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring a Group Leader for our Before & After School Programs at Merritt School and Bryan School in New Jersey.

You will engage kids with structured activities and help create a safe, encouraging environment in a busy after-school setting. This part-time role offers hands-on leadership experience while collaborating with a caring team, with shifts mornings and late afternoons, and opportunities to develop program activities in World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Hours: 7:00-8:45am & 2:45-6:30pm

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:
