Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring an AlphaBEST Group Leader for Millburn Elementary Schools to support before- and after-school programs. You'll guide students through daily activities, promote safety, and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Ideal candidates are students studying Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related fields, with a High School diploma and CPR/First Aid certification. Hours are morning and late afternoon, with opportunities to gain leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Hours: 7:00-8:30am & 2:30-6:30pm

AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
