Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader to run before-and after-school programs at Rancho Romero Elementary School in Alamo, CA, and Creekside Elementary School in Danville, CA. The role offers $24.00 per hour with a $300 hiring bonus and weekday shifts, no weekends.

You will guide students through diverse activities, maintain safety, and support inclusive learning environments while building strong relationships with families and staff.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have 12 semester units or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.

We're looking for an early learning professional who:

• Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)

• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must have 12 semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited college or university
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
