Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc is seeking a Program Leader for Before and After School Programs in San Ramon Valley, CA. You will inspire and lead students in a dynamic environment focused on innovation, curiosity and belonging, shaping memories children will cherish.

Requirements include four years of licensed childcare teaching experience, plus 12 units in child growth and development and 15 semester units. Schedule runs Monday to Friday, with start times; weekends are not required.

Qualifications

• Must have 15 semester units or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• At least four years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.
• 12 units covering child growth and development, family and community, or curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through activities in fitness, arts and technology.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and curiosity by building on students' interests.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment with positive staff, child and parent relations.

Education

7:00 AM to 6:00 PM depending on the schedule and location applying for -No weekends!

Here's what you'll need:

• Must have 15 semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited college or university.
• At least four years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
• 12 units of courses that cover child growth and development, human growth and development, child, family, and community, or program/curriculum
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations
