Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring for the 2026/2027 school year at Merritt School and Bryan School in New Jersey. The Group Leader will supervise a group of students during morning and afternoon sessions, guiding activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker and Arts.

This leadership role offers practical experience working with children, collaboration with a team, and a strong emphasis on safety and program quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Hours: 7:00-8:45am & 2:45-6:30pm

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.
