Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc is hiring a Group Leader to guide before- and after-school programs at Rancho Romero Elementary (Alamo) and Creekside Elementary (Danville), California. Pay is $24.00 per hour, with Monday through Friday shifts and no weekend work.

You will lead daily activities in World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, prioritizing child safety, keeping spaces organized, and building strong relationships with kids, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 12 semester units or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
