Job summary

Metro YMCA of the Oranges is seeking a Site Supervisor for the South Mountain YMCA in New Jersey. The role begins in September 2026 and ends in June 2027, with a sign-on bonus possible.

You will supervise program staff, manage daily activities, ensure safety and attendance, and implement a weekly curriculum incorporating physical activities, nutrition, STEAM and SEL. CPR/First Aid/AED certifications and licensing experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, college credits/degree preferred.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience.
• 1–3 years working with children in before/after school programs.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required.
• Experience adhering to Licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete attendance and monitor safety of all students and staff.
• Oversee daily activities, assign responsibilities, and guide group leaders/assistants.
• Plan and implement a weekly curriculum with physical activities, nutrition, STEAM, and SEL.
• Lead staff performance input for mid-year and year-end reviews.
• Promote YMCA programs and assist with events and campaigns.
• Ensure sanitation and health guidelines are followed and report maintenance issues.
• Lead monthly fire safety drills and complete required reporting.
