Job summary

Metro YMCAs in East Orange seeks an Afterschool Site Supervisor for the East Orange YMCA. The role is part-time and starts September 2026 through June 2027, involving supervision, curriculum planning, and direct oversight of staff and students.

Responsibilities include attendance, safety, activity leadership, and coordination with families and school partners. CPR/First Aid/AED certifications required; licensing protocols strictly followed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; college credits preferred.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required.
• Experience with licensing requirements and child safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough attendance records for students and staff daily.
• Ensure child safety following Code of Conduct and Licensing requirements.
• Lead daily activities, supervise staff, and provide feedback for performance reviews.
• Plan weekly curriculum with physical activities, nutrition, STEAM, and SEL components.
• Promote YMCA programs and assist with special events and community outreach.
