Job summary
The YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking a Part-Time Before & Afterschool Group Leader at Oak Square YMCA. You will plan and implement classroom curriculum, provide homework assistance, communicate with families, and maintain a safe, engaging environment for school-age children.
Under the supervision of the Site Director/Program Administrator, you will support academic and social-emotional growth, collaborate with teachers and families, and help position the YMCA as a childcare program of choice in

- Must meet one of the specified education/experience paths.
- Experience with school-age children required by paths.
- Minimum weekly hours requirements apply for counted experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement classroom curriculum for school-age children.
- Provide homework assistance and academic support.
- Communicate information to families and align with school/day teachers.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and engaging environment.
- Support cognitive, social-emotional and language development.
