Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School‑Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Crothersville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. The position follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts.

The ideal candidate is 18+ with a HS diploma, willing to obtain health clearance, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds while engaging actively with children. Benefits include employer-paid childcare and additional voluntary perks.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, per state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
