Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Crothersville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

This part-time, non-exempt position follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts (6:45 AM–8:00 AM and 2:30 PM–6:00 PM). Employer-paid childcare and growth opportunities are provided to eligible team members. Join a friendly team and help foster learning through play.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, per state regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic and art.
• Provide a safe, healthy and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration and staffing.
