Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Columbia Middle School Taylor Campus for the 2026–2027 school year. The part-time, non-exempt role follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon programs.

Employer-paid childcare helps families balance work and care, improving access for children aged 5–12. Responsibilities include implementing activities, supervising students, and maintaining a safe environment while fostering

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years or older.
• 2+ years of experience working with children under 13.
• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks.
• Must be medically fit to perform job duties including a clear TB.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and homework).
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and model positive behavior.
• Observe state guidelines and program/host school policies.
• May assist with attendance, registration, and staffing as needed.
