Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Crothersville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role follows the school calendar and offers hours in the morning and/or afternoon.

The position seeks individuals who love working with children, bring energy and patience, and can communicate with families. Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma is required; health clearance is also needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
