Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a Childcare Provider 2 to assist the Childcare Specialist with planning the before and after school program and supervise children.

Responsibilities include establishing rapport with students, supervising activities, providing first aid when needed, and ensuring safety per district policy. Applicants must meet state caregiver qualifications and be 18+ with relevant experience or credentials.

Qualifications

• Must meet staff qualifications to be a teacher-caregiver under Arizona rules.
• Applicants must be 18+ and provide documentation for one of the following: high school diploma or GED with 6 months childcare experience; 12 credits including 6 in ECE with 6 months childcare experience; NAC/CDA/CCP/CPC credential; or associate/bachelor degree in ECE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Supervise the site and activities, ensuring preparation prior to children's arrival.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain safety.
• Maintain acceptable behavior standards per district and program policy.
• Keep the Childcare Specialist informed of student activities; participate in cleanup activities.
