Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Before & After Care Worker to help maintain a safe, orderly environment for students before and after school. You will supervise children in the cafeteria and on the playground, ensuring procedures are followed and safety is prioritized.

Responsibilities include monitoring students, distributing snacks, tutoring when possible, and resolving conflicts with children and parents in a respectful manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor preferred.
• Must like children.
• Commitment to CSUSA values.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining an orderly, safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground and designated locations.
• Supervise students during before and after care programs.
• Follow sign-in and sign-out procedures for Before and After Care.
• Monitor students and ensure safety.
• Distribute snacks and assist with homework when needed.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents.
