Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a Part-Time Before & After Care Worker to help maintain a safe, orderly environment for students before and after school. The role involves supervising students in the cafeteria, playground, and designated areas, and assisting with homework and activities.

Responsibilities include following sign-in/out procedures, monitoring students, and resolving conflicts with children and parents to ensure a positive program experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Experience as daycare assistant or summer camp counselor preferred.
• Commitment to CSUSA values.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an orderly, safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, playground, and designated areas.
• Follow proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before Care.
• Follow proper student check-in and dismissal procedures for After Care.
• Monitor students and supervise activities.
• Observe who enters and leaves childcare areas.
• Pass out snacks and supervise playtime.
• Tutor and assist students with homework.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents.
