Qualifications

• A standard high school diploma or GED is required.
• Volunteer/work experience with school-age children is preferred.
• Within the first year, complete BASCC Components I & II.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Before and After School Quality Standards.
• Directly supervise activities to provide safe, enriching experiences.
• Set and maintain positive behavior standards using non-punitive methods.
• Provide supervision of play areas to ensure safety and quality.
• Evaluate activities and assist in scheduling for children.
• Procure equipment and help cleanup supplies for planned activities.
• Report incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Interact positively with parents and refer questions to the Child Care Supervisor.
• Follow district policies and participate in training programs.
