Job summary

Annapolis Area Christian School is seeking a Child Care Facilitator to supervise and engage students before and after the school day in a nurturing environment. The role runs 7:00am-8:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm, Monday through Friday, and emphasizes safety, development through play, and positive guidance.

The facilitator will plan activities, support learning, and collaborate with parents and staff to maintain a welcoming, inclusive program that aligns with the school's values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience working with children in a structured setting.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Support children with conflict resolution and behavior management.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and child care regulations.
