Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools in Centennial, CO is seeking staff to actively supervise students in the school-based after-school care program under the guidance of a director or designee. The role focuses on safety, positive behavior, and building strong school-community relations.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities, maintaining discipline policies, communicating with parents and staff, and supporting program quality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must work directly under supervision of director, assistant director or leader.
• Each year of employment requires at least 15 clock hours of training.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes tasks assigned by director, assistant director, or leader.
• Follow procedures as stated in the ECS Procedures Manual.
• Participates and plays with students in structured and unstructured activities.
• Maintains safe conditions for students and staff.
• Follows and enforces program discipline policies and procedures.
• Assists with maintenance, proper storage, and repair of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Contributes ideas for enrichment activities, curriculum, and program quality.
• Demonstrates excellent communication with parents, students, school staff and co workers.
• Follows district policies and goals and uses district facilities with care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
